Iron Hardware requires care and maintenance.  HIC recommends a paste wax (e.g. Johnson's Paste Wax) be applied periodically to each piece of hardware.  Pay special attention to hardware that is exposed to ultraviolet rays and moisture.  Apply wax and buff with a soft clean cloth, removing all residues.  HIC does not guarantee that this process will prevent your iron hardware from oxidizing.
